DV Rescue Needs Your Help to Embrace a Long Term Opportunity

Anticipated Home of DV Rescue in December 2017

34 Rt 100, Wilmington, VT has been home to Deerfield Valley Rescue (DVR) since 1976 (shown below). It was erected on property owned by the Deerfield Valley Health Center at the time, with a lease provided to DVR which will expire in 2044. The site is now owned by Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), and they have a vision for the expansion on the existing property, but there is simply not room for the two of us.

A long term alternative location has been identified on Adams Drive in Wilmington, current home of Frank Sprague Welding and Stone Puddles (shown above). A purchase price has been negotiated, and some remodeling will be necessary to make it ideal for our purposes. SVMC has offered us a sum of money for our existing building. Given the uncertainty of property ownership/use when our lease expires, we understand that this may be the best opportunity we are presented with in terms of a long term location under our own control and direction.
